August 1-3, 2008

Dennis, Myself, Emilee, and Marlene went to Karen's cabin this past weekend. Thank you Karen for letting us enjoy your cabin! We had such a great time! We arrived late on Friday night. Us girls got cozied up on the couch to talk. Dennis being the hardworker he is got started right away fixing the plumbing. We stayed up very late talking and just enjoying each others company. Saturday was filled with 4-wheelings, fishing, campfire, cleaning, eating, etc. Sunday morning we woke up early. The crew went for an early morning fish, but unfortuantely did not catch anything. After that, we had breakfast, cleaned up and headed back to the city. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

When we were driving up we came across some sheep. This picture was too beautiful not to take.

Marlene didn't care for the fishing part. But she did enjoy spending time with her Dad and her aunt.

Right before our 4 wheeler ride. Boy! Did we get dirty!

In 1988 they discovered a fossil of a Wooly Mammoth. This is the information center we went to on our 4-Wheeler ride.

This is the three of us around the campfire. Dennis loves taking pictures!

Dennis bought the cheap marshmallows and then left them in the truck. By the time we got to the they were all stuck together. Getting them out of the package they looked like this on the stick.

Emilee and I saw two shooting stars. We are convinced this means our wish is "guaranteed" This is us after we got our guarantee. My eyes are wide because the flash was so bright and I could hardly keep my eyes open.

And Finally...the view from the cabin.

Sorry for the long post! Hope you enjoyed the photos.
